Group Financial Controller

A large, dynamic private equity–backed healthcare business is seeking an experienced Group Controller to strengthen its finance leadership team during a period of scale, transformation, and value creation.

This is a high-impact role with broad exposure to senior leadership, investors, and portfolio operations.

Reporting to the CFO, the Group Controller will be responsible for group financial control, reporting integrity, and governance across the organisation.

• Full ownership of group financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual)
• Consolidation across multiple entities and jurisdictions
• Oversight of statutory accounts, audits, and external advisors
• Development and maintenance of robust financial controls and policies
• Cash flow management and balance sheet oversight
• Support for budgeting, forecasting, and board / PE reporting
• Lead and optimise the finance BPO/offshoring model, including ownership of the relationship with third-party providers, service delivery, controls, and continuous improvement
• Contribution to M&A integration, systems improvement, and finance transformation initiatives
• Leadership and development of a high-performing finance team

• Strong background in group reporting and consolidation
• Experience with in PE-backed, highly commercial, or fast-growth environments
• Exposure to healthcare, life sciences, regulated, or complex operational businesses preferred
• Hands‑on, detail‑driven, and comfortable operating close to the numbers
• Confident stakeholder manager, able to partner with senior leadership and investors
