Overview
A leading L/S Hedge Fund is looking to hire an Equity Trader to support a global Equities strategy. The role involves executing trades across US and global equity markets and working closely with senior portfolio managers in a fast‑paced, thematic investment environment.
Responsibilities- Execute trades across public markets with a focus on US market hours.
- Provide real-time market colour, liquidity insights, and trading analytics to PMs.
- Monitor catalysts, flows, and microstructure to optimise execution quality.
- Build strong relationships with brokers and execution platforms.
- Support development of trading tools and dashboards.
- 1–3+ years’ experience in equities or equity derivatives trading at a top-tier bank, or asset management firm.
- Strong market microstructure knowledge; options awareness beneficial.
- Evidence of being a top performer trusted with complex flows.
