TRAINEE CREDIT CONTROL ASSISTANT.
Hedin Automotive BMW & MINI is looking for a Trainee Credit Control Assistant to join our busy Accounts team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to learn and progress in accounts, with ongoing training and support you will be developing your skills with one of the world’s most admired brands in the automotive industry.
YOUR ROLE.
As the Trainee Credit Control Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administration support to the Group Sales Ledger and Credit Controller by maintaining accurate payment records and managing debt.
The main duties of the role include
Handle queries from insurance companies, fleet companies, garages, and colleagues across departments.
Manage accounts, send out monthly statements, and process invoices and credit notes.
Chase overdue payments and liaise with departments to resolve queries.
Update spreadsheets, prepare invoices, and ensure accurate financial records.
Process card payments, refunds, and oversee credit account limits.
Support financial administration and liaise with specialised accounts.
YOUR PROFILE.
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines efficiently
A methodical and organised approach to work
Interest in accounts and credit control
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, creating spread sheets and using basic formulas
Previous admin experience preferred

SALARY AND HOURS.
Salary:
Paid at the National Minimum Wage
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm (37.5 hours per week)
Location:
This is a fully office‑based role. You will be expected to work on‑site each day as part of the team.
