Location: London – Hybrid working available

We are partnering with a highly respected, forward-thinking financial planning and investment business to recruit a talented Paraplanner
. This is an exciting opportunity to take a client-facing role where you’ll be at the heart of the advice process, working closely with experienced financial planners to deliver exceptional service to a varied portfolio of clients.

The Role

As a Paraplanner, you will:

  • Play an active part in analysing client needs and identifying planning opportunities.
  • Prepare for and attend a high number of client meetings, taking detailed notes and managing follow-up actions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted secondary point of contact.
  • Research and recommend solutions, preparing clear, compliant suitability letters.
  • Produce reports across multiple advice areas, including pensions, investments, retirement income planning, inheritance tax, and alternative investments such as VCTs and EISs.
  • Collaborate with administration and planning teams to ensure advice is implemented accurately and efficiently.
  • Support business development by contributing ideas to improve processes and client service.
About You

You will have:

  • A strong understanding of financial planning and investment products.
  • Experience in a paraplanning or associate planning role with regular client interaction.
  • The ability to articulate complex advice clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency with financial planning software (Xplan, Voyant, FE Analytics) and Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and solution-focused approach.
