The Role:
Compliance Specialist (UK – London-based/Hybrid)

As a Compliance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring our firm adheres to FCA regulations. You will provide expert guidance on regulatory compliance, conduct risk assessments, oversee AML policies, and ensure GSB meets its governance and Consumer Duty obligations. Reporting to the Group Chief Compliance & Regulatory Affairs Officer, you will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of ethical and responsible financial management.

Key

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and oversee compliance with FCA regulations and the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
  • Conduct risk assessments and maintain compliance policies, including AML procedures.
  • Ensure high standards in client interactions and selling practices.
  • Oversee regulatory reporting, including the annual Consumer Duty Assessment Report.
  • Manage compliance monitoring, complaints handling, and remediation planning.
  • Provide training and supervision to ensure adherence to compliance standards.

  • Significant experience in a compliance role within UK financial services.
  • Strong understanding of FCA regulations and governance requirements.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-growing business.
  • Proven ability to implement and oversee compliance frameworks.
