Senior Finance Manager

This is a full-time, on‑site role based in the Temple area of London. The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for bookkeeping, management account preparation, cost allocations and recharges, budgeting, cash flow preparation and payment processing.

The position is supported by an accountant and legal cashier that handles the day‑to‑day bookkeeping and monthly account preparation for the law firm, and is parallel to an investment accountant that handles the accounting for our legal finance entities.

The focus is thus on consolidations, cost allocations, UK employment company payroll and tax filings, and overseeing audits.

• Strong bookkeeping and management account preparation skills
• Experience with high-level budgeting and cash flow forecasting
• Tax preparation and VAT filing experience
• Payment processing and invoice issuance in line with authorities matrix
• Strong organizational skills, electronic filing / document management
• Effective communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities
• Ability to work independently, managing multiple deadlines across multiple businesses with the maturity to ask for help when needed
• Proficiency in financial software (Xero, Excel), tools, and systems
• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certification (or equivalent) or advanced progress toward qualification
