Management Accountant

A high growth mid-market private equity backed business is recruiting for an Interim Management Accountant on an initial 3-6 month contract, with potential for permanent, as part of a buy & build. This is an integral role supporting the business through finance duties and ongoing integration of acquired businesses in to the Group.

As the Interim Management Accountant, you will be:

• Owning and delivering the production of monthly management accounts
• Owning P&L, balance sheet reconciliation process within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Assisting with FP&A duties with input in to budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
• Preparing and posting journals, assisting with group consolidation and improving financial processes
• Integrating acquired entities and business units in to group processes within Dynamics Business Central
• Delivery of further project related activity in line with PE owners’ requirements

The ideal candidate will be:

• ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified with 1-3 years PQE
• Be able to demonstrate strong management accounting and month end experience, along with a foundation in financial reporting
• Have experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Prior experience within a PE-backed business environment is beneficial
• Understanding of IFRS or UKGAAP
