What you’ll be doing
With greater size comes greater responsibility. It is an exciting time of change with having gone live with our first factory and new Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) systems in the past few years.
We’re now looking for someone to become our IT Controls Manager and help guide us through this next chapter. Ideally, you’ll know your way around manufacturing or FMCG, and you’ll have experience working with solid controls frameworks in bigger, busier environments.
Reporting into our Compliance Lead, this is a key role in helping innocent stay responsible, reliable and ready for the future. You’ll look after (and continuously improve) our IT application control environment across the group, support our compliance reporting, and help us along the road towards a full SOX framework. You’ll also get plenty of exposure — working closely with our shareholder (Coca‑Cola) and teams right across Europe to make sure we’re doing the right things in the right way.
Inthis role, you’ll be:
- Developing and owning our IT application control environment , everything from updating process narratives to working with non‑finance teams and fixing any controls that aren’t quite doing their job.
- Testing audit evidence to check our controls are effective (and confirming any previously wobbly ones are now working properly).
- Partnering with Coca‑Cola’s control teams to bring best‑practice training, tools and know‑how back into the business.
- Driving accountability across finance, compliance and IT to make sure our application controls run smoothly and consistently.
- Solid IT compliance experience, with a good feel for what “great” looks like — and the motivation to keep improving things.
- A clear and friendly communication style, able to translate technical bits into simple messages for all kinds of audiences (including our shareholder).
- A curious mind and great attention to detail, always ready to ask questions and strengthen our processes.
- A structured approach to managing workloads, juggling projects and helping the team prioritise in a thoughtful way.
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves and explore our tools and systems to make processes simpler, smarter and more integrated.
- The confidence to influence others across finance, compliance and IT — championing good controls and helping shape positive change.
- The chance to play a big part in shaping the future of our compliance framework.
- The opportunity to work closely with teams across innocent and with our shareholder as we navigate this next stage of growth.
- A role that helps the whole business build confidence, clarity and capability around compliance.
We want innocent to be a great place to work, so we do lots of stuff to make people feel at home and try to make sure everyone’s career is shaping up the way they want it to. There are plenty of opportunities to have a go at something new or take things further.
In exchange for helping us do business in the right way, you’ll get a solid rewards package that includes a salary (phew), private healthcare, a target-based bonus, and a bunch of other nice things like a day off on your birthday. And yes, you get free smoothies.
We also know that not all our drinkers come from the same background, or think the same – so why should we? At innocent, we want to be a great place to work where a diverse bunch of people from all backgrounds can turn up and thrive. When we hire, we want all the juice, bits, and pulp that make you who you are.
Even if you don’t think you can tick all the boxes, if the job sounds right for you, come and throw your hat in the ring.
Probably best to get your skates on though, as we might close this early if we get loads of applications.
