Base pay rangeSenior Management Accountant
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £70,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits
The RoleThe Senior Management Accountant will be responsible for delivering accurate and insightful financial information to support decision-making across the EMEA business. The role will suit a technically strong, detail-oriented accountant who enjoys combining precision with commercial awareness in a fast-paced, international environment.
Key Responsibilities- Monthly Management Accounts: Lead the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts for EMEA operations, ensuring reporting deadlines are met.
- Reporting & Analysis: Deliver clear financial analysis including P&L variance commentary, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow projections.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Partner with regional teams to support the annual budget and forecasting cycles, ensuring forecasts are robust and aligned with business objectives.
- Business Partnering: Work closely with budget holders and department heads to translate financial data into actionable insights and drive performance improvements.
- Audit & Compliance: Support internal and external audit processes, assist with statutory reporting, and ensure compliance with group policies and relevant accounting standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process and systems improvements, including automation and enhanced financial reporting capabilities.
- General Accounting: Maintain fixed asset registers, post journals, and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Qualification: ACA, ACCA, Audit trained with 2-3 years PQE
- Experience: Proven experience in a management accounting or financial reporting role, ideally within a complex, international, or investment-oriented environment.
- Technical
Skills:
Strong understanding of IFRS and financial controls, with advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency. - Soft Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities effectively.
