Interim Financial Reporting Manager; JR

Leading UK Insurance Group are looking to hire an Interim Head of Financial Reporting for an initial 6 months period. The expectation is that the full-time assignment can be delivered on a hybrid basis, with 2 days per week spent in the London Head Office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on statutory and regulatory reporting process under IFRS 17
• Responsible for cyclical close and reporting process, working closely with small team
• Support ongoing financial controls and process improvement agenda
• Ad-hoc project work as required; eg. support with any acquisition and integration work

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Accountant
• Experienced Senior Finance Professional, with proven exposure to Insurance industry
• Strong understanding and practical application of IFRS 17 is essential
• Self starter with outstanding controllership and communication skills
