Director, Renewable Energy Origination

My Client, am impressive and growing Corporate Finance Advisory business, seeks a Director level Renewable Energy focused originator, with strong contacts across the Renewable Developer community, to join their wider Debt Advisory business in London.

The individual will work with a team that provides debt advisory and execution services within the wider Business' Corporate Advisory Division serving financial sponsors, corporates and developers across the real assets spectrum, including infrastructure, renewable energy, real estate and transportation sectors. You will be an ambitious and dynamic finance professional, comfortable with debt structures across real assets, including bank, institutional and private credit structures across senior and junior debt, including project finance and fund finance.

• 8+ years’ experience, with time spent in a corporate lending, risk or debt advisory function.
• Excellent deal execution (must have) and business development / origination skills, with strong relationships and network across mid-market renewable developers and infrastructure sponsors in the UK and Western Europe.
• A solid understanding of technology risk, development milestones, and power price dynamics within the energy and renewables space, and project finance experience with exposure to debt products across the renewables lifecycle, including devex, construction, project and portfolio financing, holdco structures, and fund-level leverage.
• Strong and demonstrable track record of building and managing relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
