Financial Accountant; FTC

Overview

As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will report directly into the Financial Controller and play a key role in supporting finance activities for the continually growing CAA business. The role has a wide range of responsibilities and requires accurate work and tight deadlines. Teamwork and an inclusive attitude are essential.

• Provide support across the Finance function, covering multiple legal entities.
• Document process notes for all relevant processes and maintain effective control frameworks.
• Assist with statutory audits under FRS 102 and the US GAAP group audit.
• Support ad hoc requests from Financial Controllers and Tax teams.
• Play a key role in the transition to SAP, including data clean‑up, data migration, user acceptance testing and reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end and day‑to‑day Finance activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, invoicing, credit control, month‑end journals, bank reconciliations and budget support.
• Perform calculations, analyses and reports as requested by the Financial Controllers or Finance Director (UK & International).
• Provide support for the annual statutory audits by preparing documentation and supporting schedules.

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent, with at least 2 years post‑qualification relevant experience in industry.
• Strong knowledge of standard finance processes (AP, AR, GL accounting, bank processes).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi‑task and manage various tasks simultaneously.
• High level of attention to detail, great organisational skills and a team‑player attitude.
• Good Excel proficiency (VLOOKUPs and Pivot tables).
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SAP is desirable.
