EXCITING INTERIM HEAD OF FP&A ROLE! (6 MONTHS)

I am working with an International Charity that is going through a period of change, working closely with a brilliant Finance Director.

This is a unique opportunity to design, implement and embed high-performing finance processes within a newly established team. My client is looking for a resilient, hands-on leader who can build from the ground up and then stabilise and optimise for long-term success.

You will play a key strategic role, providing financial insight and performance reporting to the Senior Management Team and Board, while driving continuous improvement across systems, governance and risk.

• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles
• Own monthly performance reporting and present financial results to Executive Directors and the Board
• Define and track organisational KPIs and finance team metrics
• Manage financial reporting requirements for funders and stakeholders

• Build, lead and develop a high-performing FP&A team
• Provide strategic oversight of annual reporting processes
• Mentor the Controller and support auditor relationships
• Upskill non-finance budget holders to strengthen financial literacy
• Champion the finance function as a proactive, value-adding partner

• Oversee capital management and rolling cash flow forecasting
• Lead cost and income allocation processes
• Implement and manage finance risk frameworks

• Drive finance systems improvements and automation initiatives
• Maintain ownership of the Chart of Accounts and finance policies
• Support statutory accounting and compliance activity
• Lead internal audit and risk management programmes
