Senior Bridging/Development Finance Underwriter – Real Estate Lending

London Based - Hybrid Position

I’m partnering with a dynamic lender in the UK real estate finance space that’s looking to bring on board an experienced Bridging/Development Finance Underwriter
. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team where you’ll play a key role in assessing large and complex deals, managing relationships with brokers and solicitors, and driving cases through to completion.

• Underwriting and assessing fully packaged loan applications in line with credit policy and risk appetite
• Engaging directly with brokers/introducers to clarify deals and resolve queries
• Reviewing valuations, legal documents, and reports to progress applications
• Preparing and updating credit papers, issuing mortgage offers, and facilitating completion
• Acting as the key point of contact for complex cases, ensuring SLA standards are met

• Excellent understanding of the full loan process (bridging/development property finance experience essential)
• Ability to communicate confidently with brokers, solicitors, and customers
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in case handling
