Senior Tax Associate

We are working with a well-established professional services firm looking to recruit a Tax Associate / Consultant to support the delivery of high-quality tax services to a diverse client portfolio.

This role is ideal for an ATT-qualified professional with solid compliance experience who is looking to deepen their technical expertise and progress within a collaborative, supportive team.

• Support the delivery of personal and corporate tax services, working closely with senior team members
• Prepare personal tax returns and supporting documentation for review
• Assist with basic tax planning
  , compliance work, and ad-hoc tax projects
• Draft client correspondence and respond to routine tax queries
• Develop an understanding of:
• UK residency, domicile and ordinary residence
• Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax
• Taxation of estates and trusts
• Assist with the preparation of corporation tax computations and returns for straightforward companies
• Take responsibility for compliance administration, including quarterly and year-end processes
• Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and support team objectives
• Begin developing a specialist area of technical expertise
• Act with professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all client interactions

• Approximately 3 years’ experience within a relevant tax discipline
• Strong technical and compliance knowledge, with a willingness to develop further
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good planning, time management, and organisational skills
• Confident user of business systems and IT tools
• A proactive team player who builds strong internal and external relationships
• Commercial awareness and the ability to identify potential business risks
