Compensation: £32,000 - £35,000 / year

Description

Main Purpose of the Role: Assist the Delegated Underwriting team in the review and oversight of delegated authority agreements and provide managed syndicates with delegated authority related support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the cover holder onboarding and contract review process for DUA business written by Asta’s syndicates and managed MGAs.
  • Assist the audit process, including coordination and review of cover holder audit reports
  • Maintenance and update of records in the delegated underwriting management system
  • Assist with the production of reports and MI management information (MI) for internal meetings and regular syndicate meetings.
  • Administration of Atlas tasks, entry and approval of new binders on DCOM, Delegated Audit manager (DAM) audit scoping.
  • Assist the DUA manager in the delivery of Asta’s delegated authority oversight strategy in line with the Principles for Doing Business at Lloyd’s.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Strong educational background
  • Previous work experience in an office environment would be preferable
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • General insurance industry knowledge/experience preferred
