Mergers and Acquisitions Director

We are working with an established international investment bank seeking to hire an M&A Director to join its London team. The platform advises corporates, financial sponsors and entrepreneurs on domestic and cross-border transactions across Europe and internationally.

This role offers the opportunity to take a leading position in transaction execution, client relationship management and origination, while working closely with senior leadership and sector teams across the firm.

• Lead execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions from mandate through to completion
• Manage day-to-day client interaction and act as a primary contact on live processes
• Oversee financial modelling, valuation analysis and preparation of marketing materials
• Coordinate internal teams and external advisors throughout transaction processes
• Support and drive origination efforts, including idea generation and client pitching
• Mentor and develop Associates and VPs within the team

• Experience in Investment Banking, with significant M&A execution exposure
• Strong track record of leading mid-market or large-cap transactions
• Experience managing junior teams and multiple work streams simultaneously
• Strong financial modelling and technical capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in contributing to growth initiatives
