Goodman Masson are supporting an impressive Property company on their search for an Assistant Accountant.
Main responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and financial reporting.
- Produce financial analysis and KPI reports to support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies, and audit requirements.
- Contribute to wider process and system improvement projects across the finance function.
Must haves:
- Actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
- At least 2 years' experience in an in-house finance role, ideally contributing to management accounts
- Property experience is preferred but not essential
- Good communication skills
