We’re looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team, supporting Property Services and other business areas through high-quality financial reporting, analysis, and business partnering. You’ll play an important role in helping us maintain strong financial control while supporting operational teams to deliver value for money for our customers.

responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and commentary for relevant business areas in line with Finance team timetables
- Act as a key contributor to statutory year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors where required
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, working closely with budget holders and finance colleagues
- Produce financial analysis, performance indicators, and key ratio reporting for management and Board reporting
- Provide financial support and insight to operational teams, helping them understand financial performance and risks
- Prepare property services reporting aligned with budgets, forecasts, and management accounts
- Contribute to improvements in financial systems, processes, and reporting capability
- Ensure all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial routines and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time
- Part-qualified or studying towards a recognised professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
- Experience preparing management accounts and financial reports within a complex organisation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial information clearly
