Trust Tax Assistant Manager

A leading national accountancy and business advisory firm is seeking a Trust Tax Assistant Manager to join its growing Private Client team.

The team advises high net worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs and trustees on a broad range of trust and estate matters, including UK and offshore trusts, estates and charitable structures. This is a varied role combining compliance oversight with exposure to advisory work.

• Manage a portfolio of trust and estate clients
• Act as a day-to-day point of contact for clients and trustees
• Support Senior Managers and Directors on trust tax advisory matters
• Oversee the preparation and review of trust tax returns
• Review trust accounts, including tax pools and related tax accounting aspects
• Assist with inheritance tax and estate planning work
• Support billing and WIP management
• Supervise and support junior team members

• Experience in trust and estate taxation gained within practice
• Experience reviewing trust tax returns and trust accounts
• Exposure to HNW clients
• Strong technical knowledge of trust tax (broader personal tax knowledge beneficial)
• Ability to manage workload independently
• CTA and/or STEP qualified or studying towards
