We are working with a Charity (which also has a commercial arm) to find a Financial Controller to work alongside the Interim CFO whilst they hire and embed a new leadership team
The requirements are as followsWe need someone that will be a key finance professional responsible for monitoring their financial health, performance, and profitability, acting as a bridge between the finance teams, organisational operational teams and senior leadership
You will focus on budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and variance analysis to ensure strategic goals are met. While building processes and structure in the team and manage the team.
- Core Responsibilities: Manage budget cycles, track revenue/costs, analyse performance indicators (KPIs), and produce financial reports.
- Performance Optimisation: Analyse differences between forecasted budgets and actual results to help improve efficiency and profitability.
- Strategic Support: Advise on financial risks, support decision-making, and often work with ERP software (e.g., SAGE, SAP, Oracle).
- Reporting Structure: They will report directly to the Interim CFO and are crucial for ensuring compliance with internal control policies.
As the team needs direct support, we want this person to be in the office each of the 3 days they work
