Management Accountant

Are you a finance professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? We're looking for a Management Accountant to join our UK & Ireland Controlling function at ISS, supporting financial performance, reporting, and strategic decision-making across key business areas.

This is a high-visibility role, offering regular interaction with senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence commercial outcomes through insight, control, and process improvement.

As Management Accountant, you’ll be responsible for supporting financial reporting, cost control, and risk management across multiple contracts. Working closely with the Business Unit Controller, you’ll help deliver accurate financials and support consistency across the finance function.

You’ll also provide commercial insights and value-added reporting to senior leadership, supporting regular business reviews and contributing to ISS’s continued growth and operational excellence.

• Ownership of monthly management accounts across multiple profit centres
• Complete month-end activities including accruals, prepayments, and revenue adjustments
• Deliver high-quality balance sheet reconciliations and ensure control compliance
• Support internal and external audits, including Financial Controls & Assurance reviews
• Conduct variance analysis and investigate deviations from forecasts
• Review and drive actions on aged receivables and open purchase orders
• Partner with Key Account Managers and Finance Business Partners on reporting and reviews
• Support fixed asset and working capital management
• Ensure financial data integrity in line with UK&I and Group standards

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience in a Management Accounting or Financial Controlling role
• Background in a contract-based, commercial, or service-led environment is desirable
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to work with non-finance stakeholders
• Excellent Excel and data interpretation skills
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
• Confident communicator with strong analytical and reporting capabilities
