Finance Manager - North West London, Apparel & Fashion
Salary: £65,000–£70,000 + bonus.
We are recruiting for a Finance Manager for a fantastic high‑growth consumer brand on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys working closely with commercial, e‑commerce, and operational teams to drive performance. You will be supporting decision‑making as the business continues to scale, reporting to the Head of Finance/CFO and owning month‑end, P&L, and management accounts.
This role requires 5 days in the office; after probation (6 months) you will be required in 4 days a week.
- Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Post accruals, prepayments, and other journals in line with accounting standards.
- Consolidate management accounts and investigate variances against budget and prior periods.
- Produce monthly management accounts packs, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and KPI analysis.
- Develop and maintain Power BI reporting dashboards for senior management.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheet reconciliations.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and oversee intercompany balances.
- Maintain and manage the Fixed Asset Register, including depreciation schedules.
- Ensure strong financial controls and balance sheet integrity.
- Lead the annual budgeting process across all departments, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
- Develop detailed financial forecasts, models, and scenario analysis to support decision‑making.
- Conduct periodic reforecasts based on trading performance and updated assumptions.
- Provide insightful analysis to senior leadership to support strategic planning.
- Must be qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
- Proven experience in management accounts & commercial finance, ideally within retail, fashion, or e‑commerce.
- Strong Excel skills; confidence handling large data sets and financial models.
- Experience working with ERP systems and BI/reporting tools is highly desirable.
- Commercially curious with the ability to translate numbers into clear business insight.
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑moving, hands‑on environment.
- Must be willing to work 5 days in the North West London office.
- Must be immediately available or have a short notice period (1 month max).
