Commercial Finance Manager - Hospitality Property Development & Group Finance
A growing, multi-entity property and investment group is seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Manager to join its high-performing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working across development finance, group reporting, treasury, and performance analysis.
As Commercial Finance Manager
, you will play a central role in supporting senior finance leadership, ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and clear visibility of project performance across multiple development entities.
- Maintain and update development cost trackers for assigned projects.
- Manage development drawdowns, liaising with lenders and internal teams.
- Monitor project spend against approved budgets and highlight variances.
- Lead weekly capex/development calls, providing financial insight and challenge.
- Prepare project progress reports and board-level presentations.
- Produce management accounts for development entities.
- Support refinancing, new funding applications, and lender reporting.
- Manage covenant compliance reporting with full accuracy and timely submission.
- Produce and maintain the Group cashflow, ensuring clear visibility of liquidity.
- Perform daily and weekly bank reconciliations.
- Support treasury operations, including intercompany transactions and cash allocation.
- Carry out Group sales reconciliations, identifying trends and discrepancies.
- Build strong relationships with development teams, lenders, and senior stakeholders.
- Provide financial analysis and insight to senior finance leadership.
- Support ad hoc financial projects and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to financial controls, policies, and reporting standards.
- Support continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Monitor and escalate risks impacting project performance or cashflow.
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience.
- Strong background in commercial finance, development finance, or project-based financial management.
- Proven experience managing cashflow, cost tracking, and financial reporting in a multi-entity environment.
- Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised, detail-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities.
