Position: Management Accountant Finance  ·

Does this sound like you?

You’re a commercially minded and detail-driven finance professional who enjoys getting under the skin of the numbers. You’re as comfortable reconciling complex data sets as you are explaining performance to non-finance colleagues. With strong Excel skills and a sharp analytical eye, you take pride in delivering accurate reporting on time, every time.

You’re curious about how technology and AI can make things better, faster and smarter – and you’re keen to play a part in shaping how finance evolves in a scaling, fast-moving business.

What you’ll be doing (in a nutshell):

As our Management Accountant, you’ll take ownership of transactional revenue reporting across the Perkbox Group, ensuring our voucher sales, commissions and related balances are accurately reported each month. You’ll be a key partner to our Commercial Partnerships team, helping to keep our Perks platform running smoothly from a financial perspective.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where accuracy matters, deadlines count and there’s real opportunity to improve how we work using technology and AI.

Day-to-day you can expect to:
  • Own monthly reporting of voucher sales and usage, posting journals and clearly explaining any variances

  • Reconcile voucher sales data, including Power BI reporting and large data set analysis

  • Partner closely with Partnerships and Accounts Payable to ensure accurate and timely reporting

  • Monitor stock levels, manage voucher uploads and maintain supplier float balances

  • Reconcile Partnerships commissions and tenancy on a monthly basis

  • Support voucher management across the UK and Australia

  • Complete selected balance sheet reconciliations using technology and AI tools where possible

  • Assist with month-end close, including posting journals alongside the Senior Management Accountant

  • Plan ahead for seasonal and peak sales periods

  • Support UK Group statutory reporting and the annual audit, preparing data for external auditors

  • Deliver ad hoc analysis and insight for senior finance leaders, including our CFO

What success looks like:
  • Month-end reporting delivered accurately and within deadlines

  • Floats and stock levels managed effectively throughout the year

  • Balance sheet reconciliations fully completed and increasingly automated through smart use of technology

To be successful, you’ll have:
  • Part-qualified status, working towards CIMA, ACCA or ACA

  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with complex data

  • Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail

  • The ability to communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance stakeholders

  • A genuine interest in AI and process improvement

  • A proactive, can-do attitude with the resilience to thrive in a changing environment

Bonus points if you bring:
  • Experience working with large volumes of data

  • Exposure to vouchers, ecommerce or web-based sales platforms

  • Experience using Net Suite

  • Experience in a fast-paced or scaling organisation
