Join a fast-growing fintech as the first Head of Finance, owning the entire financial engine from day-to-day operations to strategic modeling. You will manage a £2.5M+ loan book, lead investor reporting, and scale financial systems as the team doubles. This is a high-impact, hands‑on role combining technical compliance with commercial growth strategy.

• Significant financial backing with £9m raised from top‑tier VCs including Portage, Episode1, Antler, and True Ventures to fuel rapid UK expansion.
• High‑impact leadership as the primary owner of the financial model, working directly with the Head of Lending to scale the B2B and B2C platforms.
• Unique culture of "A-players" with a focus on ownership and winning, offering a blend of in‑person collaboration in Hoxton and flexible remote Wednesdays.

• Build and maintain the master 3‑statement financial model to forecast runway, revenue, and cash burn across lending and consumer business lines.
• Oversee lending operations and treasury, maintaining the "loan tape" as the single source of truth for all UK hospitality investments and drawdowns.
• Lead all core finance functions including month‑end close in Xero, payroll management, and statutory reporting in partnership with external accountants.

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) likely trained at a Big 4 or Top 10 firm within Audit or Transaction Services.
• Advanced financial modeling expert capable of building robust, multi‑entity Excel or Google Sheets models from scratch without breaking.
• Operationally rigorous professional with a "Controller" mindset who possesses the integrity to handle payroll and the gravitas to present to the Board.
