Treasury Accountant

Goodman Masson is partnering with a leading Housing Association to recruit a Treasury Accountant. This role will play a key part in delivering accurate statutory reporting, supporting treasury audits, and ensuring all treasury transactions are recorded, controlled, and reported to the highest standard of compliance.

• Lead all Treasury accounting across reporting cycles, including statutory note preparation and supporting schedules
• Own and project manage audits of debt instruments and programmes, coordinating internal and external stakeholders
• Provide technical accounting guidance on new Treasury products, including drafting treatment papers for governance and audit approval
• Deliver Treasury journals, budgeting, forecasting, and clear variance analysis for management reporting
• Ensure accurate Treasury reporting for regulatory returns and maintain audit-ready records within the finance system

• CCAB qualified Accountant (or finalist working towards qualification)
• Proven experience in treasury accounting, management reporting, and year-end audit support
• Advanced Excel skills, with strong proficiency in recognised treasury/finance systems (Unit 4 and Salmon experience advantageous)

• Salary: £55,000 - £61,000 (salaries of up to £65,000 may be considered dependent on experience)
