Senior Financial Reporting Accountant (12 Months FTC) – London
We are seeking an experienced and qualified finance professional to join our London team on a 12-month fixed-term contract as a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant
. Reporting to the Reporting Manager, this role plays a key part in delivering high-quality financial reporting and ensuring compliance across our international entities.
This position offers significant exposure to multi-jurisdictional reporting, regulatory compliance, audit coordination, and finance transformation initiatives within a global environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead financial reporting activities for UK and European entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to relevant accounting standards.
- Oversee general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and period-end close processes.
- Prepare and review quarterly group reporting under US GAAP and applicable local GAAP frameworks.
- Serve as a senior finance contact for regional and group stakeholders.
- Partner closely with the tax function to support statutory and tax reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with external advisors in Belgium, Switzerland, and Sweden to ensure compliance with local statutory obligations.
- Support internal and external audit processes, providing documentation and technical explanations where required.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and internal SOx controls.
- Drive improvements in financial systems and reporting processes, including automation initiatives within Workday.
- Perform all duties in line with FCA Individual Conduct Rules.
- Contribute to ad hoc finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
You are a technically strong, commercially aware finance professional who brings both rigour and initiative to your work. You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, international environment and can confidently manage competing priorities.
You will bring:
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS.
- Demonstrated experience in financial reporting within a multi-entity or international environment.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong Microsoft Office proficiency.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and a collaborative mindset.
