Senior Insurance Technician

Your new company A highly respected, long-standing Lloyd's Broker is seeking a skilled Senior Technician to join their busy, specialist team. Your new role As Senior Technician, you will play a central role in supporting broking and underwriting teams through the creation, processing and management of key market documentation and accounts.

You will be responsible for drafting and producing slips, cover notes, endorsements, Binding Authorities and bulking lineslips. You will prepare and review debit and credit notes for premium balances that are to be paid to or received from underwriters, and you will also produce and interpret monthly bordereaux and account statements. A key element of your role will be supporting brokers, underwriters and team members across the placement process.

You will ensure premiums are both received and paid to underwriters in a timely manner, and you will help maintain and develop strong external relationships to support business and client objectives. You will be processing profit commissions, no-claims bonuses, treaty accounts and all forms of premiums. You will confidently present all premium types to Xchanging, manage the submission of premiums on behalf of a leading London Market broker, and assist with all aspects of credit control to ensure accurate and efficient financial management.

What you'll need to succeed You will have strong London Market technical experience gained within a broker or MGA and a solid understanding of insurance documentation, premium processes, and Xchanging submissions. You will be highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and confident in building strong working relationships. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
