German-Speaking Credit Risk Analyst | Energy Trading | London

I’m currently partnering with a leading energy trading firm in London that is looking to hire a German-speaking Credit Risk Analyst to join their growing risk team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of a dynamic trading environment, supporting front-office activity while managing and mitigating counter party risk across European markets.

• Perform credit risk assessments on new and existing counter parties
• Monitor exposures and set credit limits in line with risk appetite
• Partner closely with traders, legal, and operations teams
• Analyse financial statements and market data to inform decisions
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in risk frameworks and processes

• Fluency in German and English (essential)
• Experience in credit risk, preferably within energy trading / commodities
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Understanding of financial statements and risk methodologies
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, front-office environment
