The Assistant Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting financial operations for a large, global supply chain & manufacturing business in Central London. Description
  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
  • Reconcile balance sheets and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist in preparing VAT returns and other compliance-related tasks.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and insights.
  • Provide support in audit preparations and liaise with external auditors.
  • Analyse financial performance and highlight key trends to management.
  • Assist in improving financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency.
Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

  • Working towards a relevant accounting qualification, ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
  • Experience in financial reporting and analysis within a professional setting.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
