Credit Trader; HY​/IG

Point One Talent is partnering with a leading global quantitative trading firm to hire a Senior Credit Trader as part of the continued expansion of its European credit platform.

This is a high-impact, front-office leadership role offering the opportunity to take ownership of risk, shape platform development, and contribute meaningfully to the growth of a globally integrated trading business.

The firm combines deep market expertise with advanced quantitative research and technology, operating in a highly collaborative, data-driven environment.

• Own and manage risk across a credit trading book with full P&L accountability
• Drive alpha generation across Investment Grade and/or High Yield markets
• Play a key role in developing trading infrastructure, models, and systematic capabilities
• Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers, technologists, and traders to enhance pricing, execution, and automation
• Build and maintain strong market relationships, contributing to liquidity provision and flow generation
• Influence the strategic direction of the European credit business
• Act as a senior presence on the desk, supporting mentorship and team development

• Proven track record in credit trading, with consistent performance and disciplined risk management
• Deep understanding of credit markets (IG and/or High Yield), including liquidity, structure, and relative value
• Experience contributing to or building trading platforms, infrastructure, or new business lines
• Strong commercial judgement with the ability to adapt to evolving market structure
• Collaborative mindset — thrives in team-oriented, non-siloed environments
• Comfortable operating in a data-driven, quantitatively informed trading framework
