Job DescriptionThe Assistant Accountant will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with day-to-day finance operations while reporting directly to the Corporate Accountant. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and motivated individual looking to develop their accounting experience within a dynamic and fast-paced international business environment.

The position is office-based at the company's headquarters in Chiswick and would suit someone looking to start and build a long‑term career in accounting and finance.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable & Receivable
- Process supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding by entity and cost centre.
- Assist with the supplier invoice approval process.
- Review and process employee expense claims.
- Raise customer invoices and credit notes.
- Assist in preparing aged debtor and creditor reports and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Prepare weekly supplier payment runs for approval.
- Assist with posting journals including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Work Experience- Previous experience in a finance, accounting role is desirable but not essential.
- Suitable for recent graduates or candidates starting their accounting career.
- Exposure to finance processes such as invoice processing, reconciliations, or expense management would be beneficial.
