** Role summary
** The Equity Specialist is a leadership role (manager-equivalent) in the global RFP function.

The Equity Specialist is an experienced sole contributor working closely with RFP team members, other Global Client Services (GCS) teams, global asset class services and product teams, global distribution, operational teams and any other relevant business areas to recommend messaging for use in requests for information, new business proposals, due diligence and ad hoc requests for CG’s equity strategies.

The Equity Specialist is a resource for all GCS teams to optimize the client experience, supporting both existing service, client retention and new business efforts.
** Primary responsibilities/essential functions:
**** Content and data
** expert for coverage area (equities);
Facilitates production excellence as internal SME and escalation point:
* Accountable for ensuring optimal written content related to CG’s equity investment strategies and/or operational processes related to equity products.
* Serves as expert on statistical data for CG’s equity strategies
* Responsible for providing input and oversight of investment-related content, for RFPs and Due Diligence requests in conjunction with RFP writers, and provides input and oversight of investment-related statistical data and narrative content reported in consultant/third party databases in conjunction with the Investment Database team.
