Financial Controller | High-Growth Tech Business | London / Hybrid

A fast-scaling, investor-backed technology business is looking to appoint a Financial Controller on a short notice.

This is a key role within the finance function, reporting directly to senior leadership and supporting the business through a continued phase of growth and increasing complexity.

You will take ownership of core financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls, and high-quality insight to support decision‑making.

• Own monthly financial reporting, including full P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow
• Support preparation of board and investor reporting materials
• Lead month‑end close processes across a multi‑entity structure
• Manage statutory reporting and external audit processes
• Oversee core finance operations including payables, receivables, and cash management
• Deliver clear variance analysis and performance insights to senior stakeholders
• Support ongoing financial planning processes and forecasting cycles

• Maintain and improve internal controls in a scaling environment
• Oversee compliance across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions
• Support tax and regulatory requirements, working with external advisors where required

• Lead and develop a small finance team
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to support performance and decision‑making
• Work closely with senior leadership to improve financial processes and reporting quality

• Established technology‑led business operating internationally
• Continued growth with a focus on scaling operations and improving performance
• Finance function evolving to support increased complexity and future expansion

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Strong technical accounting background (reporting, audit, consolidations)
• Experience in a high‑growth or technology‑led environment
• Exposure to multi‑entity or international structures preferred
• Experience managing or mentoring team members
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage senior stakeholders
