Role Overview

HSBC Corporate Banking in the UK provides domestic and international commercial banking services to clients with typical turnover up to £350m. We are currently seeking a Relationship Support Analyst for a 6‑month period.
The Relationship Support Analyst supports Relationship Directors and Managers with the provision of financial services solutions for Corporate Banking customers, including sophisticated domestic and cross‑border banking requirements across a variety of industry sectors worldwide.
Responsibilities- Act as a key point of contact for customers to provide day‑to‑day support.
- Support the Relationship Directors to enable them to meet customer needs.
- Prepare financial proposals, presentations and undertake analysis for existing and prospective customers.
- Conduct detailed customer research, financial and credit analysis.
- Support day‑to‑day activities including client planning, pipeline management and coordination with product partners.
- Ensure consistent application of Group Policy and adherence to regulatory, financial and legal standards to minimise business and reputational risks.
- Experience working in Commercial Banking (CMB) is advantageous.
- Track record of understanding customers’ needs and delivering excellent customer service is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience adapting style and approach to audience and message.
- Experience planning and prioritising time effectively and meeting strict deadlines is essential.
- Ability to understand and interpret financial data is essential.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with Browser Main Menu, CARM/DCP, Omnia, etc. is advantageous.
Base location:
Queen Victoria Street, London. A hybrid working arrangement with some office days and client visits is available. The role requires occasional travel to visit clients across the London and M25 area.
