Position: Senior Manager, Finance Transformation - Big 4
Location: Greater London

We are partnering with a rapidly-growing Big 4 consultancy firm to recruit a Senior Manager (Finance Transformation) for the Insurance practice. As a Senior Manager, you will lead large-scale finance transformation programmes while providing expert technical accounting advice to clients across the UK Insurance market.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead finance transformation and accounting advisory engagements for insurance sector clients.
  • Support insurers and retirement providers through major accounting and reporting changes.
  • Advise clients on IFRS 17 implementation and ongoing post-implementation developments.
  • Drive finance transformation initiatives to improve finance operating models and processes.
  • Lead regulatory reporting modernisation programmes across the life insurance market.
  • Manage large-scale finance transformation programmes from planning through execution.
  • Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring outputs are high quality, timely, and commercially focused.
  • Provide expert technical accounting and financial reporting advice on complex insurance-related matters.
  • Collaborate with finance, actuarial, data, and technology specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Build trusted client relationships while helping organisations navigate evolving accounting, reporting, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate:

  • Current working for a Consultancy within the Insurance practice.
  • Delivered finance transformation or accounting advisory projects within insurance.
  • You have a strong understanding of insurance accounting frameworks, including IFRS 17
  • Prepared or reviewed technical accounting papers and accounting policy documentation
  • Manager complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and work streams
