Job Description Summary

You will work collaboratively with our Investment Directors and fellow Investment Associates to provide investment and capital markets research, analysis, and advice to our clients. The role offers opportunities to participate in client and investment manager research meetings from the beginning. You will be joining our Global Investment Services (GIS) division. You will work with multiple clients and support on several projects le all our colleagues are responsible for arranging their priorities in order to meet deadlines, there is a strong culture of teamwork and cooperation among the practice groups to manage tasks and assignments.

Although the position involves quantitative assessment, there is also a strong qualitative component in evaluating investment opportunities and formulating investment recommendations for clients. In addition to client work, you will have ample opportunities to get involved in business development and marketing as well as capital markets and fund manager research (investment due diligence). Right from the start, you will have direct exposure to and an opportunity to work with and learn from some of the firm’s most experienced Managing Directors across all asset classes.

Furthermore, we will provide you with a mentoring and training scheme and support studies towards further qualifications such as CFA or CAIA (if not already obtained).

Responsibilities
  • Support the development of investment strategy and portfolio construction recommendations for clients taking into account the opportunities and risks of the market environment
  • Critically evaluate and assess investment managers’ portfolios and performance
  • Interfacing with clients and responding to client requests
  • Preparing capital markets exhibits and other client presentation materials
  • Participate in fund manager meetings and help in conducting the assessment processes (i.e. writing summaries of fund manager meetings for internal distribution and investment consideration)
  • Contribute to investment due diligence reports across a wide range of asset classes, with a particular focus on Private Investments
  • Help to do proactive assessment on potential markets and clients, preparing prospect outreach and help composing client pitch materials
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (economics or business degree preferred but all courses of study accepted from motivated applicants) with a record of high academic achievement
  • Prior experience working within the Investments and Asset Management industry desirable
  • A demonstrable interest to learn more about Investment Management across all asset classes
  • Team working, problem‑solving, writing and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work reliably with reduced oversight and collaborate as part of a team under tight deadlines
  • Ability and willingness to engage in conversation with clients, fund managers and internal stakeholders across CA’s multiple divisions and practice groups
  • Knowledge of a European language desirable (but not required), in addition to a high proficiency in English
  • A desire to, or in the process of obtaining a professional qualification (CFA, CAIA, or equivalent)
  • Advanced skills in the MS Office suite programs (in particular PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
Salary

Base salary range for this role:
Pay Range Minimum: 45,200 Pay Range Maximum: 54,600. In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance‑based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package.
