Stock Loan Operations Specialists; Settlements, Middle Office & Collateral

We are supporting a leading global investment bank as it continues to expand its Securities Finance and Stock Lending business. Following significant growth in front-office activity, the team is investing heavily in operational support and is looking to hire multiple Stock Loan Operations professionals across Settlements, Middle Office, and Collateral Management functions.

These positions sit within a high-performing securities finance environment where volumes are increasing rapidly, creating an opportunity for experienced professionals to join a growing team and play a key role in supporting daily trading activity.

• Manage the end-to-end settlement lifecycle of stock lending and borrowing transactions
• Monitor and resolve settlement exceptions and failed trades
• Liaise with counter parties, custodians, trading desks and internal operations teams
• Ensure timely processing and accurate booking of transactions
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks

• Support the daily control environment across stock lending activity
• Monitor trade capture, trade enrichment and lifecycle events
• Investigate exceptions and coordinate issue resolution with Front Office and Operations
• Produce management information and operational reporting
• Act as a key point of contact between Trading, Operations, Technology and Finance teams

• Manage daily collateral exposure and margin requirements
• Monitor collateral movements and ensure sufficient coverage across counter parties
• Process margin calls and collateral substitutions
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve collateral disputes
• Work closely with Trading, Treasury and Counter party teams to minimise risk

• Previous experience within Securities Finance, Stock Lending or Prime Services Operations
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
  Settlements, Middle Office Controls, Trade Support or Collateral Management
• Strong understanding of the stock loan lifecycle
• Ability to investigate breaks, exceptions and operational issues
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work across Front Office, Operations and external counter parties
• Excellent attention to detail

• Experience Global One or similar stock lending platforms
• Exposure to investment banking, prime brokerage or securities finance operations
• Experience supporting global markets businesses
