Part Time Accountant

Your new company
Our SME client is seeking an experienced Interim Part-Time Accountant to support a well-established business through a period of recent restructure. This is a hands-on role designed to strengthen the finance function and ensure robust financial reporting.

Your new role
You will take ownership of the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This includes preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in line with FRS
102, ensuring full compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role will also involve supporting and enhancing financial reporting processes and controls, while providing valuable financial insight to aid decision-making during the restructuring period. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the business, contributing to the overall effectiveness and stability of the finance function.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant with a strong background in month-end, year-end, and statutory accounts preparation, along with knowledge of FRS
102.
What you'll get in return
This is a part-time role 21 hours a week, initially office-based but then with some flexibility.
