For our Clearing & Reporting department in London we are looking to hire a:
Securities Clearing SpecialistYour role on the team
Securities Clearing is part of the Transaction Services division and sits in the process chain between the front office and settlements. The team is responsible for identifying and correcting errors and exceptions in the booking process and reviewing the bank’s securities transactions for accuracy. You will join a team of six and benefit from the decades of experience held by several team members.
Whatwill you do?
- Processing and monitoring securities trading transactions involving domestic and international securities (including bonds, equities, certificates, and funds)
- Acting as the direct contact person for the trading department regarding inquiries and complaints
- Proactively communicating while handling tasks for, and inquiries from, the areas of Transaction Services, Investment Banking, Wealth & Asset Management, and Financial Markets
- Managing and maintaining valuation price and security master data for the bank
- Continuously analysing and improving processes and settlement quality, particularly with regard to digitalisation initiatives
- Bachelor's degree level of education
- 2–5 years of experience in securities operations, clearing, settlement, brokerage operations, or capital markets
- Working knowledge of securities trade lifecycle and settlement processes
- Experience with clearing and settlement platforms and custody systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial operations software
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
