Job Description

The Debt, Capital & Treasury Advisory team is an integral part of Deloitte’s Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory practice, providing independent advice and world‑class execution across the full spectrum of debt, capital and treasury areas through the firm’s global network. Deloitte’s Treasury Advisory team is expanding its team to work alongside Corporate Treasury and Private Equity teams in an advisory capacity, addressing their most complex financial and operational challenges.

The role seeks a highly skilled and motivated Treasury Technology Manager to play a key role in project delivery and business development. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a treasury technology background to contribute to a growing team and shape the future of our market‑leading position.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for treasury technology initiatives, including defining scope, developing plans, managing budgets, resources, timelines, stakeholders and project risks, ensuring adherence to methodologies and compliance, and providing technical expertise and support to clients.
  • Lead the evaluation and selection of new treasury management systems and related technologies, conducting vendor assessments, developing RFPs and participating in due‑diligence processes.
  • Oversee implementation and upgrade of treasury management systems, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption, working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Manage the integration of treasury systems with other enterprise systems, ensuring data accuracy and efficient workflows.
  • Contribute to business development by identifying and developing new opportunities, preparing proposals and presentations, building strong client relationships, and supporting marketing and thought‑leadership initiatives.
  • Provide daily expert advice and support to senior client personnel, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate effectively with a diverse and inclusive team.
Qualifications Essentials
  • Master’s level degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field (Finance, Technology, Business Administration, etc.) or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • Proven experience managing treasury technology projects (e.g., TMS selection, implementation, upgrade, integration) within a large corporate treasury, consulting firm, or treasury technology vendor.
  • Deep understanding of treasury operations and processes.
  • Experience with various treasury management systems (TMS) and related technologies (payment systems, cash management systems).
  • Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure and security best practices.
  • Experience with data migration and integration processes.
  • Strong project management skills and proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English (oral and written).
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Report‑writing experience with clear, concise documentation.
  • Desire to work in an advisory consulting environment and build a career in professional services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) with advanced Excel skills.
Desirables
  • Experience with Kyriba, FIS Quantum/Integrity, ION IT2/Reval/Wall Street Suite, GTreasury.
  • Experience with robotic process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence, and reporting/business intelligence in a treasury context.
Location & Working Policy

Job based in London with hybrid working. Employees will have the opportunity to work in the local office, virtual collaboration spaces, client sites and remotely, with occasional face‑to‑face meetings.
