- Review complex securitisation credit applications, make well‑considered recommendations to senior management and actively monitor portfolios against internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Develop robust credit risk frameworks aligned with shareholder expectations and client needs across multiple asset classes, including auto & consumer credit, RMBS, trade receivables, and other structured products.
- Represent the Securitisation Credit Team at regional forums, collaborating globally to ensure consistent credit approval standards across MUFG’s international offices.
- Support strategic initiatives within CIB Credit for EMEA, contributing to ongoing development of credit risk frameworks, risk appetite monitoring and early warning systems.
- Communicate credit matters clearly in written reports and verbal presentations to senior management and junior staff.
- Identify and mitigate potential conflicts between MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities EMEA plc requirements, escalating issues appropriately while maintaining entity‑neutral support.
- Supervise delegated tasks as required, ensuring tasks are exercised correctly and compliance obligations are met.
- Adapt to evolving duties as requested by line managers or department heads while upholding controls and compliance obligations.
- Proven experience as a Vice President Credit Manager for Securitisation in a financial institution or corporate banking setting.
- Deep knowledge of structured finance transactions across asset classes such as auto & consumer credit, RMBS, trade receivables, and other securitisation products.
- Strong analytical skills, with a Bachelor's degree required and a Master's preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage meaningfully with colleagues at all levels and foster effective communication throughout complex projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for accurate numerical analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure, prioritise tasks efficiently and maintain high standards of quality.
- Willingness to learn new asset classes, jurisdictional frameworks, and regulatory initiatives, with commitment to ongoing professional development.
