Our client, a large private equity-backed financial services business, is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Reporting Manager to provide technical accounting and reporting expertise during a period of continued growth and change.

This role requires a technically strong qualified accountant with deep IFRS knowledge and a proven track record within regulated financial services environments. Working closely with the CFO and Group Financial Controller, you will lead external reporting, statutory accounts, technical accounting matters, and audit delivery across a complex group structure.

• Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting under IFRS.
• Own the production of consolidated statutory accounts across multiple legal entities.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, including acquisitions, restructurings, financing arrangements, and regulatory matters.
• Assess the impact of new and emerging IFRS standards and ensure compliance across the group.
• Manage the year‑end audit process and act as the primary contact for external auditors.
• Review and strengthen financial reporting controls, governance, and accounting policies.
• Support regulatory reporting requirements and work closely with key stakeholders across Finance, Risk, and Compliance.
• Drive reporting improvements and support wider finance transformation initiatives.

• ACCA, ACA or CA qualified.
• Strong technical accounting expertise with extensive hands‑on IFRS experience.
• Previous experience within financial services is essential, ideally within banking, lending, payments, fintech, insurance, wealth management, or other regulated environments.
• Proven experience preparing and reviewing complex group consolidations and statutory accounts.
• Strong understanding of financial services regulatory and reporting requirements.
• Experience working in large corporate, listed, or private equity‑backed businesses.
• Ability to operate independently and provide credible challenge and guidance to senior stakeholders.
