The Brattle Group is looking for a Research Analyst Intern - Economics and Finance, to work out of our London office.

RESEARCH ANALYST INTERN - ECONOMICS AND FINANCE About

The Role

As a Research Analyst Intern, you will play an integral role in project teams, contributing to complex economic and financial analyses related to international disputes and competition matters
. You will gain hands‑on experience in economic consulting and develop practical skills in data analysis, modelling, and research
.

Typical Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other client deliverables.
  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative research to support expert analysis in arbitration and competition cases.
  • Applying economic and financial modelling techniques to address real-world challenges.
  • Using software such as Stata, R, Python, or Excel to analyse datasets and extract meaningful insights.
  • Reviewing and summarising academic literature and industry trends to contextualise findings.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Will have completed a Bachelor's degree by September 2026 in Economics, Finance, or a quantitative discipline with strong academic performance.
  • Interested in pursuing a Master's after completing the internship.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret data.
  • Basic experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Stata, R, or Python is highly desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (fluency in another European language is a plus).A proactive, detail‑oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
