Senior Syndicate Accountant

Join a global insurance group in a newly created role as Senior Syndicate Accountant. Drive accurate syndicate and regulatory reporting for their Lloyd's syndicate, partnering across underwriting, claims, and finance teams to deliver process improvements and tight controls.

• Lead general ledger close for Syndicate and related entities (US GAAP and UK GAAP reporting)
• Maintain controls and reconciliations across technical accounts and balance sheet items
• Support interface implementation and collaborate on system improvements
• Partner with Finance teams on analysis, planning, and regulatory reporting
• Liaise with auditors and support audit processes

• Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or working towards
• Deep Lloyd's market knowledge, Lloyd's/FCA/PRA reporting experience (including Xchanging, LCA processes)
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated team player comfortable working independently and mentoring more junior staff
