Responsibilities
- Help shape plans that drive better decisions
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and medium‑term planning across Lloyd’s
- Turn business activity and cost drivers into clear, robust financial insight
- Highlight risks, opportunities, and trade‑offs in a way people understand
- Help improve planning processes so they’re faster, simpler, and more consistent
- Deliver insight that matters
- Produce clear, high‑quality reporting and commentary
- Explain not just what happened, but why it matters and what to do next
- Challenge assumptions and spot issues early
- Support better decision‑making through evidence‑based insight
- Partner across the business
- Build strong relationships across Finance and beyond
- Support senior stakeholders with clear, concise materials for key forums, including Executive Team and Council
- Bring a financial lens to day‑to‑day decisions and conversations
- Improve how we work
- Support the full planning cycle across month‑end, forecasts, and budgets
- Help shift the focus from manual reporting to value‑adding insight
- Improve processes, systems, and outputs for accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain strong controls so reporting is trusted and reliable
- Play your part in the team
- Collaborate openly and support others
- Share knowledge and contribute beyond your core role
- Help build an inclusive, high‑performing team
- Strong FP&A or finance business partnering experience in a complex environment
- Ability to turn data into clear, commercially relevant insight
- Confidence to engage, influence, and challenge constructively
- Proactive mindset—improve things, not just maintain them
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience working with budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting
- Bonus: experience with Anaplan or Workday (not essential)
