Responsibilities

  • Help shape plans that drive better decisions
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and medium‑term planning across Lloyd’s
  • Turn business activity and cost drivers into clear, robust financial insight
  • Highlight risks, opportunities, and trade‑offs in a way people understand
  • Help improve planning processes so they’re faster, simpler, and more consistent
  • Deliver insight that matters
  • Produce clear, high‑quality reporting and commentary
  • Explain not just what happened, but why it matters and what to do next
  • Challenge assumptions and spot issues early
  • Support better decision‑making through evidence‑based insight
  • Partner across the business
  • Build strong relationships across Finance and beyond
  • Support senior stakeholders with clear, concise materials for key forums, including Executive Team and Council
  • Bring a financial lens to day‑to‑day decisions and conversations
  • Improve how we work
  • Support the full planning cycle across month‑end, forecasts, and budgets
  • Help shift the focus from manual reporting to value‑adding insight
  • Improve processes, systems, and outputs for accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain strong controls so reporting is trusted and reliable
  • Play your part in the team
  • Collaborate openly and support others
  • Share knowledge and contribute beyond your core role
  • Help build an inclusive, high‑performing team
Qualifications
  • Strong FP&A or finance business partnering experience in a complex environment
  • Ability to turn data into clear, commercially relevant insight
  • Confidence to engage, influence, and challenge constructively
  • Proactive mindset—improve things, not just maintain them
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience working with budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting
  • Bonus: experience with Anaplan or Workday (not essential)
