Accounts Payable Manager - FTC - Leading Hedge Fund

Mondrian Alpha are partnering with a global macro hedge fund to hire an Accounts Payable Manager on a 12-month FTC. The firm operates across major financial markets globally, and fosters an entrepreneurial and collaborative culture.

The role sits within the finance team, offering broad exposure across the firms operations, working closely with finance, trading, and other support functions across the business. The role will support the day-to-day running of the firm's payables and expense processes while working closely across other areas of the business. Additional responsibilities include performing cost allocations, preparing journal entries, and providing ad hoc support for finance and business related stakeholders.

The role takes ownership of core accounts payable activities, allocations, accruals and month-end reporting.

The position offers exposure to a complex business, and would suit an individual who enjoys working in a dynamic, detail oriented environment. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 years' accounts payable experience, ideally gained within financial services firms. Previous experience working within a financial services firm is essential, along with experience working across multiple entities, and currencies.
