Financial Accountant

Hours of Work: full time, fixed-term contract.

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial reports, supporting the timely execution of financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. You will work closely with various departments to provide insightful financial analysis and assist with audit processes, while also contributing to process improvements and supporting our organisation’s IT transformation projects.

• Part qualified or QBE Accountant (essential)
• 2-3 years' experience in a banking environment, preferably in a small bank
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Ability to liaise effectively across various departments such as retail, credit, treasury, and compliance
