Loan Documentation and Operations Specialist – AVP

As an AVP Loan Documentation Specialist
, you will act as an operational subject matter expert
, supporting the execution, documentation, and booking of lending transactions into LoanIQ across EMEA.

• Review and approve lending documentation, ensuring operational feasibility and compliance with internal procedures.
• Perform and approve consistency checks between legal documentation and credit approvals, providing final sign-off on key terms and conditions.
• Execute and approve credit limits within core banking systems, ensuring all regulatory and local requirements are met.
• Review risk mitigation documentation
  , including credit insurance and sub-/risk participations.
• Escalate transaction-related risks from both policy and regulatory perspectives.
• Develop procedures and booking methodologies for non-standard or complex transactions in collaboration with Front Office and Finance.
• Challenge existing processes to enhance controls, efficiency, and best practice

• Participate in departmental and firm-wide projects and change initiatives.

• Proven experience in banking or financial services, with exposure to syndicated loan markets
  .
• In-depth knowledge of loan documentation and the transaction lifecycle
  .
• Strong understanding of the credit approval process and LMA (Loan Market Association) standards
  .
